In 2024, IFPI Sweden and STIM launched a one-stop shop licensing process for podcast producers to legally use commercial music. The license covers use and listening in Sweden only.
This licensing is voluntary, and master owners of music have the exclusive right to choose their participation. IFPI Sweden respects this right and offers an opt-out option for those who do not wish their sound recordings to be used in commercial podcasts.
